A Sneak Peek of Vegan Delights in Brazil
The 10th edition of VegFest Brazil, held in São Paulo, spanned 4 delightful days dedicated to promoting veganism.
Over 110 brands showcased their latest products for the Brazilian market. 8,500 visitors were able to sample plant-based burgers, sausages, cheeses, desserts, and basically everything else your taste buds can come up with. Of course, there was no shortage of beloved Brazilian snacks such as vegan coxinha and pão de queijo. My favorites were the wine-aged cheese and the ice cream!
The culinary journey didn’t stop there – live cooking shows featured truly impressive plant-based recipes. Besides veganizing traditional favorites, talented chefs whipped up mouthwatering innovative creations.
Inspiring Talks and Networking at the Vegan Conference
The heart of VegFest Brazil 2023 was the vegan conference, where 107 speakers, both local and international, shared their insights. They covered a diverse range of topics, such as health and bodybuilding on a plant-based diet, activism, international animal rights, entrepreneurship in the vegan market, vegan parenting, and more.
As the founder of Vegan Travel Brazil, I had the opportunity to meet incredible animal advocates. Not only have I gained valuable knowledge but also built meaningful connections within the vegan community. The conference was a testament to the growing influence of the vegan movement, showcasing the dedication of individuals working towards a more compassionate and sustainable world.
VegFest also featured an escape room, a vibrant vegan party, and many other engaging activities. I was thrilled to see so many people supporting veganism in Brazil… it was certainly an unforgettable experience for everyone involved!

Without a doubt, the anticipation for the next edition is already building. The 2024 edition, scheduled for December 5th to 8th, promises even more excitement and trends for the vegan market in Brazil.
